Ingredients

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Full-fat preferred
  • 1 medium Cucumber Grated & squeezed dry
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh dill Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil Extra virgin
  • ½ teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper Freshly ground

Sandwich Assembly

  • 4 pita Pita breads Warmed
  • 2 cups Chicken breast Cooked & sliced
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber Sliced
  • ½ medium Red onion Thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce Chopped
  • ½ cup Feta cheese Crumbled (optional)
  • ¼ cup Kalamata olives Sliced (optional)

Instructions

  • Grate cucumber and squeeze dry using a towel.
  • Mix yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki.
  • Chill tzatziki in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Season and grill chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F). Rest for 5 minutes.
  • Slice vegetables evenly for sandwich assembly.
  • Warm pita breads on skillet or grill pan for 30 seconds per side.
  • Spread tzatziki on pita, layer chicken, vegetables, feta, and olives.
  • Fold pita and cut sandwich in half. Serve immediately.
