Ingredients

Plum Filling

  • 6 cups Fresh plums Pitted and sliced (about 8–10 medium plums)
  • cup Granulated sugar Adjust to taste depending on plum sweetness
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour Helps thicken juices
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • Salt Pinch

Crisp Topping

  • 1 cup Rolled oats Old-fashioned
  • ¾ cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Brown sugar Packed
  • ½ cup Butter Cold, cubed
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish.
  • Toss plums with sugar, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Spread plum mixture evenly in baking dish.
  • Combine oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in bowl.
  • Cut in cold butter until crumbly texture forms.
  • Sprinkle topping evenly over plums.
  • Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
