Ingredients

Cake

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Fresh peaches Peeled, sliced

Crumb Topping

  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.33 cup Cold butter Cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking pan.
  • Slice peaches and set aside.
  • Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix eggs and vanilla into creamed mixture.
  • Combine dry ingredients separately.
  • Alternate adding milk and dry mix to the batter.
  • Spread batter into the baking pan.
  • Lay peach slices evenly on top.
  • Lightly press peaches into batter.
  • Mix topping ingredients with pastry cutter.
  • Add crumb topping over peaches.
  • Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
  • Let rest 15–30 minutes before serving.
