Ingredients

Cupcakes

  • 1 ¾ cups All-purpose flour Provides structure & tender crumb

Buttercream

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 4 cups Powdered sugar Adds sweetness & structure
  • cup Fresh passionfruit pulp Strained
  • 2 tablespoon Heavy cream Creamy texture
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Flavor balance

Instructions

  • Preheat oven.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • Mix in vanilla extract.
  • Alternate adding flour mixture and milk, beginning and ending with flour.
  • Gently fold in passionfruit pulp.
  • Fill cupcake liners ⅔ full.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes at 350°F (175°C) until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool cupcakes completely on wire racks (about 45 minutes).
  • Frost with passionfruit buttercream using a spatula or piping bag.
