Ingredients

  • cups All-purpose flour Spooned and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Butter Softened (2 sticks)
  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 2 Eggs Large
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups M&M candies Reserve ½ cup for topping
  • 1 cup Mini chocolate chips Optional for extra chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in M&Ms (reserve ½ cup); press dough into pan and top with reserved M&Ms.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is slightly underbaked.
  • Let cool in the pan for 1–2 hours before slicing.
