  • 2 tablespoon Honey (optional) For brushing top
  • Oats or seeds (optional) For texture and topping

Instructions

  • Activate yeast with warm milk and honey until foamy.
  • Mix dough with butter, egg, salt, and flour.
  • Knead dough until smooth and tacky.
  • Let dough rise until doubled, then punch down.
  • Shape into loaf and do second rise in pan.
  • Brush with honey and bake until golden.
  • Cool loaf before slicing.
