Ingredients

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes Cut into ½-inch strips
  • 4 cloves garlic Fresh, minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly shredded
  • 3–4 tablespoons olive oil Or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional depth
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt To taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper Optional kick
  • 2 tablespoons parsley Chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes
  • Dry thoroughly and toss with oil, garlic, and seasonings
  • Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F for 25–30 minutes
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle hot fries with Parmesan
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately
