Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl Preferably glass
  • 1 Whisk For mixing batter
  • 1 Non-stick skillet 8-10 inches, or a crepe pan
  • 1 Measuring cup or ladle For pouring even batter amounts
  • 1 Spatula Thin and flexible for flipping crepes

Ingredients

Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups whole milk 2% milk works too
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter Unsalted preferred
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Filling & Topping

  • ½ cup Nutella Or other hazelnut spread
  • Strawberries Optional topping
  • Bananas Optional topping
  • Whipped cream Optional topping
  • Powdered sugar Optional topping

Instructions

  • Whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk, butter, vanilla.
  • Gradually combine wet into dry to form smooth batter.
  • Let batter rest 15–30 minutes.
  • Heat pan, lightly butter, pour ¼ cup batter.
  • Swirl pan for thin crepe; cook 1–2 minutes.
  • Flip gently; cook other side 30–60 seconds.
  • Spread Nutella, roll or fold crepes, serve warm.
