  • 1 Large Sheet Pan Lined with parchment for easy cleanup
  • 1 Large skillet To brown ground beef evenly
  • 1 Wooden spoon For stirring without scratching pan

Ingredients

For Seasoned Ground Beef

  • 1 lb Ground beef 80/20 blend preferred
  • 1 Taco seasoning One packet or homemade
  • cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 Onion Diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves Minced

For Nacho Base

  • 1 bag Tortilla chips 10–12 oz, thick-cut preferred
  • 2 cups Mexican cheese blend Shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 can Refried beans 15 oz
  • 0.5 cup Pickled jalapeños Sliced

Fresh Toppings

  • 1 cup Sour cream Or substitute Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tomato Diced
  • 0.5 cup Green onions Chopped
  • 0.5 cup Black olives Sliced
  • 1 cup Guacamole Store-bought or homemade
  • Cilantro Chopped, to garnish
  • Lime wedges For serving

Instructions

  • Sauté onion and garlic in oil, add ground beef, season, and cook until browned.
  • Spread chips on a sheet pan, add beans, cheese, beef, and jalapeños.
  • Bake at 400°F for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Add sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, green onions, olives, and cilantro.
